COSTA PACIFICA

“HISTORY AND CULTURE”

Costa Pacifica is very well known as the first high-end resort in Baler, Aurora. Prior to its reputation, the resort was once called Bahia de Baler Garden Resort with merely 10 rooms way back 2007 under Sea and Sierra Vista, Incorporated. As Mutya ng Pilipinas 2009 was placed in Baler to promote Beauty Tourism, the resort owner, previous Senator Edgardo J. Angara, added 18 more rooms to house all the pearl candidates. With the beautiful nature of Aurora, the low cost of labor, availability of resources and the strong support of the local government, the expectation of sales growth and market size positioned Baler as the next top tourism destination in the country, considering it has one of the top surfing beaches in the Philippines—Sabang Beach. The owner’s love and faith in Baler, Aurora initiated the beginning of another 78 rooms giving the resort a total of 106 rooms and a name “Costa Pacifica”. It opened on August 19, 2013 toning with the celebration of Baler town fiesta. It is named Costa Pacifica as it is located along the coast of Sabang Beach, with a beautiful ocean view of the Pacific.
